TransParenting
This nationally acclaimed program of
Families First, formerly known as "Children Cope With Divorce,"
helps parents and children in Bartow and Gordon Counties adjust to
new family roles during and after divorce. Attendance is required
for all divorcing parents with children under 18 in Georgia before a
divorce can become final.
We also recommend the class for grandparents and separating non-married couples with children.
The one-day seminar is held monthly, on Friday in Gordon County, and on Saturday in Bartow County.
If you need to attend, check with your attorney or our office for specific dates.
If your child or a child you love needs help dealing with his or her parents' divorce, please consider contacting us about our Rainbows groups.
The cost of the seminar is $40.00 or
$5.00 for Medicaid recipients. Card must be presented at time of
registration. All payments must be in cash. Checks will not be accepted.
TIME: Registration is between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. The Seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.
