It’s like a raffle, but way more fun!
In an event sponsored by Advocates for Children, numbered golf balls will be dropped from the sky at the October 5 AT&T Corporate Real Estate Property Management Charity Classic. Up to 250 golf balls will be dropped, each representing the chance to win a cash prize.
As the balls are dropped onto the green, the numbered ball that goes in the hole first wins 50% of what is raised in golf ball sales up to $6,250! While a winner will be announced that day, the winner does not need to be present to win and will be notified by email.
Each chance to win the Golf Ball Drop Raffle costs $50 with half the proceeds going to Advocates for Children and its programs that are dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Advocates for Children serves more than 3,000 families and children annually.
A winner of the Golf Ball Drop will be determined by which number ball rests in the bottom of the cup after the drop, signifying that it was the first to land in that spot. Should no ball land in the designated cup, the winner will be determined by which ball was closest to the cup. In the event of a tie, the winners will split the prize money evenly.
The winner of the Golf Ball Drop will receive half of the total ball sales, which could equal up to $6,250 if all 250 balls are sold prior to the event with the equal amount going to Advocates for Children. Odds of winning are based upon the number of balls sold.
