Each year, Advocates hosts fun filled community events that provide vital funding for their many programs. Thank you for making our fundraising events such a huge success for more than 30 years. Join us at the following annual events as we have fun while making a difference!

AT&T Golf Tournament

Scheduled for October 6, 2016 – Check back for details.

The 2015 AT&T Corporate Real Estate Property Management Charity Classic was a huge success thanks to the AT&T Corporate Real Estate Team, the event sponsors, and the wonderful staff at Woodmont Golf and Country Club. Thank you for supporting Advocates for Children, and for doing your part to help the children.

Duck Dash 5K and Fun Run

The 2016 Duck Dash runners will take off from Cartersville Untitled designElementary School on the morning of Saturday, October 1, 2016, 8:00 am. Lace up to support Advocates for Children by running, waddling, or walking in our 11th annual Duck Dash. Runners of all experience levels are encouraged to participate. Participants can register for a 5K, or bring the kiddos to our ¾ mile Fun Run.

On -site registration begins at 7am the morning of the race BUT participants are encouraged to pre-register in order to guarantee they receive a T-shirt.

Giving Tuesday

What is #GivingTuesday?

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

Magnolia Designer Show House

MDSH_logo_web_4x4Beverly Baribault Design Group (BBDG) and Atlanta Magazine and Atlanta Magazine’s HOME will present the Magnolia Designer Show House in Cartersville, Georgia, in October of 2016. The show house will benefit Advocates for Children.

The show house will be open for self-guided tours Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm and  Sundays from 1 to 4 pm. Admission is $20. No refunds will be issued; however, tickets are transferrable.
