Bartow County's Official Chartered Council
As Bartow County's
official chartered council, Advocates for Bartow's Children is
committed to the common mission of preventing Child Abuse in all its
forms. Volunteers and staff create and implement community awareness
campaigns on this very real problem, and collaborate with our
counterparts around the state and country.
Children ages fifth grade through
high school in the Cartersville City Schools are given Need to Talk?
cards each year. This little business-card has the number of the
statewide hotline (1-800-CHILDREN) and reminds the kids they can call
it for confidential help with bullying, family problems, friend
problems, or if they just Need to Talk.
You can help in your neighborhood,
school, business, or civic organization. April is nationally recognized
as Child Abuse Awareness month each year, but the effort to break the
cycle continues all year, every year.
We Can Use Your Help!

"Shouting to make your children obey is like using the horn to steer your car, and you get about the same results!"
