Thank you, Publix
Publix managers and associates from stores located within the District 87 territory, including Cartersville and Acworth spent the day with Advocates for Children August 30, volunteering their time and energy at the Flowering Branch Children’s Shelter. Working both inside and outside the facility, Publix team members worked on landscaping projects, pressure washed, painted inside, organized, and performed maintenance on the playground equipment. This was not the first year for the local employees of the company to include Advocates for Children as part of their United Way Kickoff and Day of Caring. Throughout the southeast, Publix service projects support youth and education projects, which are also pillars of Publix’s philanthropic outreach.
Led by District Manager for District 87 John Westall and Cartersville Store Manager Bryan Jewell, the Publix team is always appreciated for their dedication and their support of Advocates for Children. Thank you for a wonderful day and all that you do!
