The Volunteen program is another exciting way to volunteer your time with the residents here in our Shelter. Volunteens are young people who are here to make a difference in other youths' lives. Volunteens divide their time among group sessions with children in the Shelter, peer mentoring and much more. Being a Volunteen is a very rewarding experience, one that cannot be duplicated. The youth who commit themselves to becoming Volunteens also commit themselves to being mature, responsible, open minded, patient and positive influences whose main objective is to help other youth.
