Every day, we help positive childhood experience take root!

By working together as one, we all can play a part in building communities and growing hope in children and families. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During this month and throughout the year, Advocates for Children and Harbin Clinic are dedicated to supporting families to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.

Plant a Pinwheel Garden!

In 2021, our Children’s Advocacy Center, which conducts forensic interviews for Bartow County, conducted 479 interviews—that’s 479 children who reported abuse (85-90% of which were sexual abuse allegations) in Bartow County alone. This is a 15% increase from the year prior!

Pass by the Bartow County Courthouse and Harbin Clinic to see the official pinwheel gardens. Each pinwheel is significant because it is a reminder of the hope and joy that can grow out of pain when we work together to prevent child abuse and neglect.

Support Advocates for Children to help grow Hope out of Hurt.

If you are interested in participating in our 2022 Annual Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month, please contact Samantha Rotunno at samantha@advochild.org .
