Duck Dash 5k & Fun Run

Please join us Saturday morning May 9th, 2020 at the Cartersville Primary School for the 16th Annual Advocates for Children “Duck Dash” 5K & Kids Fun Run. The race will start at 8 A.M. with race day registration and packet pick up opening on-site at 6:45 AM. The Duck Dash is the longest-consecutive-running road race in Bartow County with one of the fastest and flattest courses around and is suitable for runners of all ages and abilities. Be sure and Pre-Register to guarantee your T-shirt size!

Cash Prizes as well as “Advocates personalized” trophies are awarded to the top 3 overall Male & Female winners as well as the top overall Masters Male and Female winners.

This event marks the kick off for the Annual Advocates for Children “Duck Derby” which will be held Saturday May 16th. at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville (17th Annual Duck Derby!) You can buy your ducks for this outstanding event when you finish the Duck Dash! What a Day!

Proceeds from the race go toward preventing and treating child abuse in all its forms through the programs and services that Advocates for Children serves!

Event details and schedule
Race day registration & race-day pre-registration packet pick-up will begin at 6:45 AM in front of Cartersville Primary School. The 5K will begin at 8:00 AM and the Children’s fun run will begin at approximately 9:00 AM with Awards presentation to follow shortly thereafter. Race parking is located on-site in the Cartersville Primary School parking lot. More information on race day logistics will be provided to all runners prior to the event. Please note – this is a RAIN or SHINE event!
