Give While You Shop – Designate Advocates for Children as the Recipient from Kroger and the Amazon Smiles Foundation
With students back in school, shopping only seems to increase from college textbooks and office supplies to lunch box items and snacks. You can now dedicate a part of your purchase price to Advocates for Children by shopping at Kroger or through Amazon Smiles.
Kroger Rewards Cards can do more than save customers money on frequently purchased items and gasoline. Visit krogercommunityrewards.com and register your rewards card for Advocates for Children. Once you have registered, a percentage of every dollar you spend will be set aside for Advocates. This is a way for you to support children and families and it doesn’t cost you anything, other than the time to register your card.
If you have previously registered your card, you must re-register annually before Sept. 1.
Amazon.com dominates as an online retailer, selling more than just books. With Amazon Smiles, you can enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, convenience, and Prime Membership Rewards, plus donate 0.5 percent of your purchase to Advocates for Children.
On your first visit, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization. Search for Advocates for Children. On each subsequent visit, the site will automatically remember this as your organization of choice and continue to donate the percentage of your eligible purchases. Just make sure to shop on smile.amazon.com as opposed to the original website.
