Other Ways to Support our Mission:

Organize a supply drive for essential items like diapers, canned goods, or hygiene products. These donations stock our Family Resource Center and support youth experiencing homelessness. Whether it’s a diaper drive for babies, pantry items for families in our residential program, or care kits for young adults ages 18–24, every item you collect helps meet urgent needs.

Items can be delivered to: Advocates for Children  |  827 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy SE  |  Cartersville, GA 30120

Our dedicated team ensures your donations go directly to the families and children who need them most.

Choosing the right assets for charitable giving ensures you can support your loved ones and favorite causes in the most tax-efficient way possible.

A Smart Strategy:
Leave IRA or other retirement plan assets to Advocates for Children (a tax-exempt organization), and pass non-IRA assets like cash, stocks, or real estate to your heirs.

Why It Matters:

  • Tax Efficiency: IRA assets are taxable when inherited by individuals, but tax-free for charities — meaning your entire gift benefits the children we serve.
  • Maximize Value for Your Heirs: Non-IRA assets often receive a “step-up in basis” upon inheritance, reducing or eliminating capital gains taxes for your loved ones.

Work with your financial advisor or estate planner to tailor a plan that honors your values, supports your family, and leaves a legacy of hope.
