Every young person deserves a safe place to call home.

At Advocates for Children, we provide housing solutions and support services for runaway, homeless, at-risk, and foster youth, helping them achieve long-term stability and independence. Through our Runaway & Homeless Youth (RHY) program, we provide emergency shelter, crisis intervention, and connections to community resources. Our Safe Place program serves as a lifeline for youth in crisis, giving them access to immediate safety through a network of trusted locations. Newman House, our residential program, provides emergency beds for homeless youth and a safe, supportive environment for foster youth working toward stability and independence. For older youth aging out of foster care or struggling to find permanent housing, our Youth Independent Housing Program provides rental assistance, life skills training, and wraparound services to help them transition to self-sufficiency. By addressing both immediate and long-term housing needs, we ensure that no young person in our community is left without a path forward.
