Dear Friends & Supporters,

In 2021, our world continued to be filled with uncertainties and questions associated with Covid 19 and its variants, and its impact was felt in every area of our lives and businesses. Despite these challenges, Advocates for Children continued our mission of helping the children and families of our communities navigate these uncertain times.

In 2021, our services in general increased approximately 10%, with our Children’s Advocacy Center seeing an astonishing increase of 25%. Our services were needed and sought by many, and we worked hard to meet that need. As a response, we added the “Supporting Kids on the Road to Excellence” (SKORE) program, a court diversion program. We also expanded our first-rate CASA program into Gordon County to serve the entire Cherokee Judicial Circuit, becoming CASA of Northwest Georgia.

Finally, the community and our partners stepped up with increased giving over the previous year. We would not have been able to achieve these successes without the support of our volunteers, donors, and partners. We are so thankful for each one of you, helping us serve the children of our community and growing hope out of hurt.

Faithfully,
Racehl Castillo
