HELP STUDENTS IN FOSTER CARE ARRIVE AT SCHOOL PREPARED.

While going back to school is exciting for most kids, students living in foster care can feel overwhelmed. Many arrive at school without the basic resources their peers take for granted— a backpack, notebooks, clean clothes or even shoes that fit.

You can change that! GIVE CONFIDENCE.

Join with Advocates for Children to ensure our youth begin the school year with the important essentials they need.

Your financial support matters more than ever. With the increasing cost of school clothing and supplies, families are expected to spend more than $600 per child this year. Whether it’s a financial donation or gift card, every gift sends a powerful message: you are seen, you matter and your future is worth the investment.

Other ways to help:

Donate School Supplies: Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, clothing and shoes in person at the Advocates headquarters: 827 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy SE, Cartersville, GA

Donate Gift Cards: Teens enjoy choosing their own clothes and supplies.

Youth in our Newman House are 7–21 years old, but most are aged 14–18 where fitting in is most important. And they’re not alone—children and teens across all of our programs count on us to help them start the school year with what they need to succeed.

Your Impact

Last year, every school-age child in our care advanced to the next grade—two students who entered with failing grades finished with straight A’s.

You helped make that happen. Let’s do it again — together.

P.S. Your gift today can help teens living in foster care walk into school with their heads held high. Your donation brings dignity, confidence and hope to foster youth. Thank you.
