Dear Advocates’ Friends & Champions,

What an eventful start to the year! This spring has gone by in a blur. From the announcement that we are moving from our current location to all the amazing campaigns and events, including Kids Helping Kids, Child Abuse Prevention Month, our Half-Marathon and 5k, and of course our 20th anniversary of Duck Derby, we had a lot to celebrate.

In addition to all this, we launched our 8th program this year, Together for Families and saw two of our residents of the Flowering Branch Children’s Shelter proudly graduate high school. None of this would have been possible without you, our loyal supporters, fellow community members, and caring individuals. Nelson Mandela is credited for saying, “Safety and security don’t just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear.” When we work to build strong families, supporting one another and giving our children an environment in which they can thrive, they do amazing things. Thank you so much for your support.

Warmest Wishes,
Rachel Castillo
