The Half-Marathon/5K tandem is a first-class running environment designed for you and your friends and family to have a great time running for a great cause. The fourth Half-Marathon will be combined with the 20th running of the Pinwheel Pursuit 5K (formerly called Duck Dash) with proceeds from BOTH races benefiting Advocates for Children.

The national symbol for child abuse prevention is the blue pinwheel. Join us in helping thousands of children in the 11-county region served by Advocates.

Children, teens and young adults navigating abuse and neglect benefit from the race… and so do you.

Raise valuable community awareness while demonstrating your company’s compassion and concern. Advocates for Children, the largest, most active local charity in NW Georgia, is working with Wire2Wire to host the region’s only race benefiting 15,000 young people served in our 11-county area. Half-marathon and 5K runners will gather at the former Cartersville Primary School for the newly renamed Pinwheel Pursuit (formerly Duck Dash) and your company can be there… front and center.

Your race sponsorship is a critical part of the event, helping provide housing, mentoring, food, clothing, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), resources and other vital elements in stabilizing volatile children, teens and young adults. A Peachtree Road Race qualifier, Pinwheel Pursuit is a professionally organized race likely to attract close to 1,000 people.
