The renovations for the Advocates for Children Regional Office are well under way and Advocates plans to move into their new home in early Fall of 2023. The building, located at 827 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, was formerly a bank building and is being renovated to house several of the Advocates for Children programs including the Children’s Advocacy Center and CASA of Northwest Georgia. For the first time in the 40 year history of Advocates, programs will be able to share offices and client spaces which will remove some of the barriers to care for families with limited transportation. The new building will include family meeting rooms, forensic interview spaces, therapy rooms, and a brand new education wing with room for 100 visitors.

One of the first priorities of the Build Families. Protect Children. Capital Campaign, the acquisition and renovation of the building were only made possible by the generous gifts made by individuals, businesses, and foundations to the campaign.
