Every day, we help positive childhood experiences take root!
By working together as one, we all can play a part in building communities and growing hope in children and families. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During this month and throughout the year, Advocates for Children and Harbin Clinic are dedicated to supporting families to reduce the risk of child abuse and neglect.
Plant a Pinwheel Garden!
In 2023, our Children’s Advocacy Center, which conducts forensic interviews for Bartow County, conducted 414 interviews—that’s 414 children who were victims or witnesses to abuse in Bartow County alone.
During the month of April, you can pass by the Bartow County Courthouse and Harbin Clinic to see the official pinwheel gardens. Each pinwheel is significant because it is a reminder of the hope and joy that can grow out of pain when we work together to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Please join us in the fight against child abuse!
